Classroom Expectations

• Respect your classmates, your teacher, and yourself.
• Listen when someone is talking and raise your hand before speaking.
• Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
• Follow teacher directions the first time given.
• Come to class prepared to learn and to work.

Students that exemplify the Ways of a Spartan will be rewarded with the following:

1. Verbal Praise
2. Positive Contact to Parent/Guardian
3. Homework Pass
4. PBIS Reward
5. Recognition to Principal

Failure to follow Classroom and School Rules will be met with the following Negative Consequences*:

1. Verbal Warning
2. Time-Out
3. Call Home
4. Detention
5. Referral to Office

* Serious offenses can, at the teacher’s discretion, result in more severe consequences regardless of previous steps taken. Any infraction of the rules may affect your Academic Readiness grade.

Students shall not have their phones out during class.

• • 1st Violation – I hold it for the rest of the class
  • 2nd Violation – Phone will be sent to the office
  • Arguing about the phone or not handing it over will result in the phone (and the student) going to the office.
